| Operation Ivy / 1987 - 1988
|
Operation Ivy came straight out of a small town named Albany, Ca in 1987 and lasted through 1989 before breaking up after their one and only US tour. They played a lot of live shows in northern California's "East Bay" and many shows at The Gilman Street Project, now known as 924 Gilman. You can once again buy a DVD of Operation Ivy Live at Gilman Street "Rock against Racisim Show" - 1989 - for $20.00 USD including shipping. PayPal payments only, no exceptions. To buy this DVD make your $20.00 USD PayPal payment to jzebu@mac.com - allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. This DVD contains the full content of the orginal VHS master tape plus some rare bonus material. If you have any questions email jzebu@mac.com * Recently I gave OpIvy drummer Dave Mello a digital master CD of the never before released 4 track demo recording I recorded for OpIvy the day before their studio recording of the "Energy" album in 1988. If and when this new material will surface only the bands knows now. I have been holding it safely for 20 years! "Aint no time like the present" to ignite the past and bring this unheard music to the crowd. |
