SCHLONG : 1994 - 2004
Schlong was the brain child of Dave Mello, Pat Mello and Gavin Mc Authur. Schlong took their name from one of Gavin's cats who's name was Schlong. By the way Gavin's other cat's name was Poo Nah Nah. Some time in the early 1990's Schlong played their first show at a friend's apartment for his birthday party in Albany, CA. Schlong went on to play countless shows on seven US tours, record seven albums and many splits and compellations. Some of their albums to look for are; Schlong, Essential Schlong, Non-essential Schlong, Waxy Yellow Build up, Punk Side Story, and their final album Fish Booty. In 2004 after nearly a decade Schlong got back together and played a reunion tour throughout California.
